Independent IT and project services provider Envue has
appointed a Business Delivery Manager as it looks to secure
continuing growth in its target sectors.
Sarah Forbes has joined the Aberdeen-based specialist at a
time when the company is enhancing its market offering in key
areas such as due diligence for IT services.
Her remit is to provide technical and strategic support for
existing customers and to pursue new growth opportunities across
Envue’s service portfolio.
Sarah, who had amassed extensive experience in IT management
roles with a number of energy-related and IT service
organisations before joining Envue, says:
“It’s great to have joined a business with such strength and
depth of knowledge in IT and project delivery.
“The Envue team has a wealth of proven, real-world experience
across so many industrial and commercial sectors and I look
forward to the opportunity to add my knowledge, and my ideas, to
our offering.
“Envue’s independent status is one of its key attributes,
offering as it does the basis for us to tailor our approach each
time to meet specific client or project objectives.”
Sarah, originally from Lossiemouth, is working with Envue
clients to ensure their IT capabilities, whether delivered
in-house or via contractors or parent companies, are being
deployed to maximum commercial effectiveness on their behalf.
“The other key area of my work is IT due diligence, primarily
in relation to merger and acquisition and transitional
activities,” she adds. “It’s all about helping the customer to
make the most of their investment and avoid potentially
expensive mistakes via a careful process of collating all the IT
infrastructure information and then evaluating in commercial
terms”.
“That means the customer has a clear business understanding –
in pounds and pence, in weeks and days – of the implications of
its IT migration work. That way they are making informed, robust
decisions based on a transparent process.”
